A newcomer to the «Les Classiques» range, Épices Douces is a blend of agricole rums from the French West Indies, slowly infused with citrus and a selection of spices: tonka bean, cocoa, vanilla and cinnamon.
Tasting note provided by the producer:
Nose: opens on spicy notes. Vanilla and cinnamon come first, followed by notes of cocoa and tonka bean with slightly roasted accents.
Palate: round and harmoniously spiced. The attack is soft and pastry-like. The French West Indies agricole rum provides a fine structure, supporting the cocoa and vanilla notes, while the tonka bean brings an elegant aromatic depth. Kumquat adds liveliness.
Finish: long and warm, marked by the persistence of sweet spices and roasted notes.
