Swell de Spirits goes Mexican and Reunion Island, not forgetting Guadeloupe!

Three new bottlings for Swell de Spirits.

Swell de spirits Saturnal MexiqueSwell de spirits Saturnal MexicoIndependent bottler Michael Barbaria has teamed up with Mexican partners to create “Los Convidados”, a company whose first bottling is called Satvrnal. A high esters rum made from local molasses, double distilled in pot stills, fermented for 3 weeks in a wooden vat, then left to rest for over 6 months in a double-jacket.

Swell de spirits Papa rouyo

Also in the new selection, a white agricultural rum from Papa Rouyo, distilled in 2022 and left to rest in stainless steel tanks.

Swell de spirits Isautier

Last but not least, we head for Reunion Island, and more specifically Isautier, for a collaboration between Michael and Cyril Isautier’s teams. An aged agricultural rum distilled in 2011 and aged in ex-cognac casks. A single cask aged full tropical.
