After Marie-Galante, Excellence Rhum is back in Guadeloupe with two new selections.
The first stop is Montebello, with a blend of molasses and agricole rum aged for 20 years in ex-Bourbon and ex-Cognac casks. Racked in 2021, this rum rested in vats for over a year before being bottled in the Excellence Rhum collection.
The second selection was made by the Espérance distillery, with a rum aged for 6 years in ex-cognac and new barrels. The white rum was made from red cane (65%) and blue cane (35%) before ageing.
