Christian Drouin’s Expérimental makes a stopover in Barbados
This is the fifth ‘Experimental’ cuvée in a rum finish, this time in old Foursquare barrels. A 17-year-old Pays d’Auge calvados was placed in 8 French oak casks that had previously contained rums from the Barbadian distillery, for 17 months.
The calvados was then aged for a further 3 months in freshly re-oasted barrels.
