How has the rum market changed over the last 10 years?

The premium rum market has been growing rapidly in recent years, mainly in Europe, but also in the rest of the world, particularly in Asia-Pacific and the Caribbean. We also believe strongly in the potential of certain markets in Sub-Saharan Africa and the Middle East. Consumers have shown a real enthusiasm for discovering new destinations and new territories, both gustatory and cultural, in the world of premium rums.

How do you see it developing over the next 10 years?

We believe that premium rum will continue to grow over the next few years, attracting many new consumers. This category is extremely diverse, and we are also seeing bridges being built between the consumption of premium rum on the one hand and other premium dark spirits categories on the other (whisky, cognac, etc.). We’re confident that we can make a major contribution to this growth, and we can’t wait to see what the years ahead hold in store for us.
