This third series of vintage rums celebrates the terroirs and local characteristics that give these rums their unique and exceptional character.
Fiji 2004 is the first in this new ‘Terravera’ collection, which will include 6 bottlings.
Alexandre Gabriel, Master Blender and creator of Plantation rums, selected the Rum Co. of Fiji distillery in the town of Lautoka, on Fiji’s largest island, Viti Levu. It has been making rums from locally sourced sugar cane since 1980.
This Fiji is a molasses rum, vintage 2004, aged for 17 years in 200-litre ex-bourbon casks (tropical ageing) and 2 years in 350-litre Ferrand casks.
