The Confrérie du Rhum presents its latest product in partnership with Les Rhums de Ced as an ode to Martinique and Ti-Punch: the “Siret Cochon”.
This new release was made with white rum AOC Martinique “Fleur de Canne” from Saint-James and a homemade “siret cochon” jam “Made in Basse-Pointe”.
Also known as “surette”, this fruit looks like a small, rather acidic yellow, berry and grows on a tree in tropical areas.
“With this fruit, we make excellent jams that are then used by the older generations to sweeten the famous Ti-punch, emblem of Martinique’s ‘savoir-vivre’”, as Benoit Bail explains.
The sugar for the preparation of the jam comes from the Galion factory in Martinique and the label was created by the artist Hélène Raffestin.
In short: a Ti-punch in a bottle with 100% Martinique jam and fruit!
