The third release for the iconic J.Bally Art Déco and its pyramid-shaped bottle, this time a 2003 vintage aged in 300- to 350-liter French oak barrels.
Tasting notes provided by the producer:
Nose: A clean woodiness without aggressiveness, with citrus notes characteristic of the 2003 harvest. The second nose evolves towards sweet cocoa and macerated fruit notes.
Palate: A beautifully intense attack carried by the woodiness and well balanced with the nose. The fruitiness and toastiness blend beautifully.
Finish: A lovely length on the palate, carried by a finish with notes of undergrowth.
