La Maison du Rhum returns for a sixth batch with no fewer than 7 new bottlings, including a new destination.
Honour the French West Indies with a 2014 vintage, aged in ex-bourbon casks and matured in ex-sherry casks. Then we’re off to Peru, and Millonario in particular, with a rum aged for 8 years in ex-bourbon casks and 1 year in ex-sherry Oloroso casks.
A stopover in Paraguay with Fortin, a rum distilled in 2015, aged in ex-Bourbon casks before being matured in ex-Sherry and Whisky casks. A stopover in Panama with a 15-year-old aged entirely in ex-Bourbon casks, before heading back to Colombia with a 2010 vintage, aged in ex-Bourbon casks before being matured in ex-coffee liqueur casks at Hacienda Coloma.
A stopover in Venezuela for a 7-year-old aged in ex-bourbon barrels and we end the journey with a new destination for the bottler: the Virgin Islands and a rum distilled in 2016, aged entirely in American oak barrels.
