Excellent news for lovers of rums selected by Chantal Comte: a new Caribaea vintage white rum, a Tour de l’Or 2010 from the House of La Mauny, and another Caribaea vintage, an old rum this time, from HSE
The sanitary events of the year 2020 made the selection more difficult, but it took more than that to discourage Chantal Comte, this emblematic figure of independent bottling.
It took nine months to finalize these vintages of which Chantal Comte is very proud: “Traveling was impossible, I suffered to get there, but the result is three high-flying vintages”.
Two houses share the bill: La Mauny first, as Chantal Comte explains: “The presence of Daniel Baudin is a lot, his work is great, he was elected best cellar master in the world in 2019 and he deserves it.
The second is none other than HSE, whose last collaboration dates back to 2012. For the Caribaea 2020 vintage, the label is designed by Cyril Girard, naturalist painter.
