Bielle surfs the vintages

New vintages for Bielle rums.

Bielle 2004

Honouring the old with a brut de fût that aged 17 years before being bottled in a limited edition decanter, a 2004 vintage.

Tasting notes provided by the producer:

Nose: Complex aromas of candied fruit underlined by gingerbread, discreet hint of old wood.

Palate: Finesse and complexity with notes of toast, giving way to a full, silky mouth.

Finish: Magnificent length rounds off this very old, rare agricultural rum with a unique flavour.

Bielle 2013

Also a 2013 vintage bottled in 2023, 10 years of ageing in ex-bourbon casks.

Tasting notes provided by the producer:

Nose: Intensity and aromatic complexity on old wood and spices.

Palate: Powerful and full-bodied with stewed fruit, hints of old walnuts and prunes.

Finish: Generous and long

Finally, a 2019 vintage

Tasting notes provided by the producer :

Nose: Round, with fine oak and exotic fruit.

Palate: Notes of bourbon vanilla and gingerbread.

Finish: Prolonged hints of honey.
