Eight barrels selected by Maestras Roneras Liza Cordero and Silvia Santiago make up this cuvée. Rums aged between 5 and 18 years were chosen and blended before being aged for a further 4 years in American white oak barrels.
Tasting notes provided by the producer:
Nose: earthy notes give way to aromas of caramel, fine wood, dried fruit, raisins, vanilla, and a hint of subtle smoke.
Palate: a smooth and silky attack, beautiful complexity marked by oak, plum and raisin, with a long, refined finish. Neither too powerful nor too timid: a model of harmony.
