Launch of Bana Canne liqueur
Rhum Clément continues to innovate with the launch of its new banana liqueur: Bana Canne. This product required two years of research and development to combine the richness of sugar cane with the sweetness and freshness of banana.
“What Grows Together, Goes Together”
At the genesis of the project was a visit to Martinique by American bartenders, who came to discover Clément’s rhum agricole and products. Inspired by the local produce and culture, these experts suggested marrying sugar cane and bananas, symbols of the island of flowers:
“What Grows Together, Goes Together”. This idea was the driving force behind the development of Bana Canne, a liqueur distinguished by its authentic smoothie-like aroma of fresh banana. To make this liqueur, Rhum Clément selected bananas from Domaine de l’Acajou, located below Habitation Clément.
Sustainable innovation
The development of Bana Canne was made possible by a collaboration with Kadalys, a Martinique-based start-up specializing in eco-extraction. Founded by Shirley Billot, Kadalys transforms banana waste into valuable resources.
After more than 50 trials, the Kadalys and Clément teams have developed an innovative banana flavor extraction technique, using sustainable, environmentally-friendly methods.
New packaging and visual identity
In parallel with the launch of Bana Canne liqueur, Clément decided to rethink the visual identity of its range of liqueurs. The new identity features refined graphic codes and elegantly designed bottles.
The makeover aims to reflect the brand’s modernity and elegance, while highlighting the exceptional quality of its products. Clément’s historic liqueurs, such as Créole Shrubb and Mahina Coco, also benefit from the new packaging, forming a harmonious and sophisticated collection.
