\"Foursquare<\/p>\n

The penultimate edition of Foursquare distillery\u2019s famous Exceptional Cask Selection series, Penultimus marks a first: it is the only one in the collection to have been aged in Spanish Moscatel casks.<\/p>\n

The blend brings together two rums with distinct profiles. The first underwent a double maturation: 10 years in ex-bourbon casks, followed by 5 years in ex-Moscatel casks; while the second was matured for 15 years exclusively in ex-bourbon casks.<\/p>\n

Tasting note provided by the producer:<\/strong> Nose: bitter dark chocolate, black tea leaves, ground spices, Medjool dates. Dried coconut, green grape skin, dried banana chips and a touch of lemon zest. Palate: supple, soft and oily. Notes of golden melon, ripe pineapple, delicate caramel and dark chocolate. Finish: long. Lemon sorbet moving towards a green-grape-skin astringency.<\/p>\n
