Sydney Rum Distillery is an Australian spirits producer located in the heart of Sydney. The distillery produces Cargo Cult Spiced Rum, as well as Navy Strength Rum.<\/p>\n

Cargo Cult Dry Spiced Rum<\/h3>\n

Aged for over two years in a tropical climate, Cargo Cult Spiced Rum is blended in Australia from rums from Papua New Guinea and Fiji, infused with natural spices (vanilla, ginger, cinnamon, cardamom, nutmeg, and cloves) and bottled without added sugar.<\/p>\n

Tasting notes provided by the producer:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Nose: Marzipan, gingerbread, vanilla, baklava.<\/p>\n

Palate: Very dry and medium-bodied. Cinnamon and ginger spices with notes of vanilla, long and delicately spiced finish.<\/p>\n

Cargo Cult Banana Spiced Rum<\/h3>\n

It is made by infusing real bananas from North Queensland, always based on rum aged for over two years in a tropical climate, blended in Australia from rums from Papua New Guinea and Fiji.<\/p>\n

Nose: Ripe banana, cinnamon, vanilla, nutmeg.<\/p>\n

Palate: Natural banana and cinnamon spices. Round and medium-bodied, with a lingering banana aftertaste.<\/p>\n

Cargo Cult Navy Strength Rum<\/h3>\n

This rum comes from a remote distillery on a South Pacific island and is then aged in ex-bourbon barrels in a tropical climate.<\/p>\n

Nose: Powdered cocoa, butter caramel.<\/p>\n

Palate: Caramelized sugar and dark chocolate\u2014rich, full-bodied, and warm, with a long, lingering finish.<\/p>\n
