\"Cuv\u00e9e<\/p>\n

This rum, aged in Pineau barrels, is distilled from molasses in a column still before being aged in tropical climates in 200-liter re-charred bourbon barrels. It is then aged for several months in 225-liter R\u00e9mi Landier white Pineau des Charentes barrels in Charente. Finally, it was reduced to 54.55% for optimal tasting.<\/p>\n

Tasting notes by Alexandre Vingtier:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Nose: refined vanilla, mint, soft caramel, coconut, citrus fruits, mango, roasted pineapple, apricot, raisins, honeyed spices (clove, cinnamon, nutmeg), roasted nuts, and a subtle barbecue-style smokiness.<\/p>\n

Palate: cr\u00e8me br\u00fbl\u00e9e, citrus zest, dark chocolate, evolving towards vanilla, caramel, raisins, peach, fig, pepper, ginger, and a hint of blond tobacco.<\/p>\n

Finish: long and warm, with spicy oak, coffee, leather, cedar, delicate smoke, and an earthy touch.<\/p>\n
