A word from Marc Sassier, oenologist and production manager at the Saint James distillery: “Our Cuv\u00e9e \u00c9l\u00e9gance is unique in the world of agricultural rums because it brings together our most prestigious and rare single casks since 1997. It is a true tribute to our House, which still holds the oldest vintages of the Martinique AOC. Each aged rum brings its own style, creating a rich and indulgent harmony.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Tasting notes provided by the producer:<\/strong><\/p>\n

A lively, non-aggressive first nose marked by rich woodiness punctuated with notes of nutmeg and coffee. The nose evolves into a smooth and fruity aromatic palette.<\/p>\n

The attack is typical of the Maison Saint James style, both warm and roasted. Sweetness dominates, gradually giving way to the characteristic rancio of ripe fruit.<\/p>\n
