Baie des Tr\u00e9sors, the Martinique-based rum house, is expanding its range with two striking new products: Brut d’Amphore and Karakoli R\u00e9colte 2020. Each of these unique cuv\u00e9es perfectly illustrates the brand’s commitment to producing exceptional terroir rums.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Brut d’Amphore: a first in the world of agricultural rums<\/h2>\n

Brut d’Amphore stands out in the world of rum as the first AOC Martinique organic agricultural rum aged in amphorae. This process, rarely used in rum production, allows natural oxygenation of the spirit thanks to the porosity of the amphora, revealing a new aromatic dimension.<\/p>\n

At 71.2\u00b0 alcohol, Brut d’Amphore is an unreduced, unsweetened rum, offering powerful, distinctive aromas, including notes of green olives and truffles. This rum is the fruit of a meticulous process designed to respect and sublimate the natural qualities of Martinique’s terroir.<\/p>\n

To enhance the Brut d’Amphore cuv\u00e9e, Baie des Tr\u00e9sors teamed up with REVOL, a French porcelain manufacturer. Together, they have created an elegant, sober ceramic decanter, produced in a limited edition of 1,000. This choice of container reflects Baie des Tr\u00e9sors’ artisanal and exclusive approach, while underlining the rarity of this cuv\u00e9e.<\/p>\n

Karakoli R\u00e9colte 2020: a tribute to the lands of La Caravelle<\/h2>\n

At the same time, Baie des Tr\u00e9sors presents the new vintage of its Karakoli cuv\u00e9e, R\u00e9colte 2020, a 3 year and 3 month old rum from the exceptional harvest of 2020.<\/p>\n

This rum reflects the richness and complexity of Martinique’s terroirs, particularly those of the Caravelle peninsula, where Baie des Tr\u00e9sors, through a parcel-by-parcel approach, selects the best cane from the Spoutourne parcel, one of the most emblematic on the estate.<\/p>\n

The two cuv\u00e9es, Brut d’Amphore and Karakoli R\u00e9colte 2020, will be available from October 2024. Brut d’Amphore has already attracted interest with its preview presentation at the Bordeaux Rhum Festival in June 2024. Karakoli R\u00e9colte 2020 will be available as a limited edition from specialist wine merchants, delicatessens and the Baie des Tr\u00e9sors boutique.
