Rumporter celebrates its 10th anniversary!<\/h2>\n

20 personalities decipher the last 10 years, and provide food for thought for the next 10…<\/h3>\n[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]A lot has happened in the world of rum in ten years! We can mention premiumisation, the boom in arrang\u00e9s and spices, the beginnings of speculation, the arrival of new origins, the rise of white tasting rums, the popularity of Jamaica and esters…<\/p>\n

In order to get a clearer picture and better understand the issues of yesterday and tomorrow, Rumporter has decided to give a voice to those who have been, and will continue to be, important in the world of rum. You’ll notice that the vast majority of them are men, which reflects the fact that it’s still men who set the pace in the rum industry.<\/p>\n

It will no doubt be very different in 10 years’ time! In any case, what’s fascinating is that while we asked (almost) the same questions of these 20 (21 in fact!) personalities, very few of the answers were similar! This reflects the diversity of the issues that have affected, are affecting and will affect the world of rum over the next ten years.<\/p>\n
